Although both Salehoo and Doba are services (read this Salehoo review for a more in-depth description) for new e-commerce businesses there are some significant differences between them. Both are 'members only' websites where you can buy goods at trade prices, but they differ in where and how the goods you buy are shipped – as well as the price of membership itself.
The Key Differences Between Doba and Salehoo
Salehoo is a directory of certified suppliers, that you can search through and contact directly, while Doba is a service that drop ships products to your customers.
Doba is a one stop solution for finding and fulfilling drop shipped orders. Members can search through about two million products, buy them and have them shipped to their customers – Doba keeps them all in stock. In the members area you can track the fulfilment and shipping part of the process too.
Salehoo has about 1.6 million products, from a range of wholesalers and drop shippers, that you will need to buy from individually.
Salehoo costs $67 per year and Doba costs $30-250 a month.
Which is better?
They are both useful – but Salehoo is cheaper and much more flexible, although it does have fewer products that are available to buy.
There are often $1 trials of Salehoo, so I'd recommend having a go at that one first and then cancelling and trying Doba if it does not work out.
